My Mum Cries at School's Talk
About once a year, my mum speaks at one of my talks. The video is at Stoke Newington School to almost 300 students. Some of the students started crying, and dozens gave my mum a hug at the end.
That was SUCH a real and MOVING speech given by your mum! My eyes filled up also. Even though you have been to hell it is also hell beyond words to know people you love are in hell and you feel powerless to help them
your Mum is crusading, too? Of course she is! I would expect nothing less of you. You are unlike anyone I have ever met. You have the ability to influence people & you are successful in everything you do. No doubt in my mind that you will save many from making the same mistakes & getting caught up in the lifestyle. Like I have always said, I'm honored to be your friend.
Just watched the video on your blog showing your mum giving a school talk, she still feels it as fresh as the first day she was told about you, it was very touching to see and her contribution to your life continues to be your whole backbone, i know you already know how lucky you are to have such support, give her a big hug from me too.

ReplyDeleteImagine how emotional it was at the school
I could feel the sounds from the audience when your mum became upset
