"Ahs crack." lol. Everything sounds more dignified with an English accent. This blog and the books are so fascinating and compelling. I'd had no idea that Arpaio was a sociopath claiming to be the law but running criminal concentration camp-type jails. I had been one of the the public members who thought he was simply and admirably being tough on prisoners and preventing recidivism. The torture and murder in his jails was going way beyond that. One of the things I love about the books is, you don't simply relate horror story after horror story, which you do include, for the shock and book-selling value, but relate the humanity and the day-to-day basics of surviving. I loved reading about Two Tonys in particular. Julie, Burlington, Iowa
