It does. I went to children hospital in Israel back in 2004 it totally changed me.

Doesn't it just. I had a friend who died of cancer when we were eight years old, after battling it for a year and a half. I still think of what she went through when I'm feeling hard-done-by about something stupid and childish.
It occurs to me that that's not really an optimistic story to be bringing up, but I did appreciate being reminded of it. I hope your visit had a happier outcome - I'm sure the children appreciated it.
