My brave sister, Karen, has decided to go public about the news that has devastated my whole family in the past month. My neice Yasmin, her two year old, has cancer, leukemia. Please give Karen support by reading her blog: http://ourlifewithleukaemia.blogspot.co.uk/

Hey.I am so sorry to hear about your neice but just tell your sister to hang on and never stop believing in what our Father God and His Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit can do. Just never beg when you pray, always believe because that shows how much faith we have in Our Maker. I will keep your whole family in my prayers. We accept what God puts in our paths but He will never leave us alone on our paths.God Bless.
dude - that sucks big time
my little bro was diagnosed with leukemia when he was 14 - it was a tough year that followed with chemo and blood cleansing and then finally an bone marrow transplant from an annoymous donor. He is now 34 and going strong. I hope you have the same luck for you neice.

That must be really worrying for you and your family, not to mention confusing and scary for your little niece. I wish you all the best in dealing with this: knowing that someone you care about is ill and not being able to fix it sucks hard, and I know, because I watched my whole family go through it when I was sick. I hope you're doing okay, or as okay as can be expected.
I don't know how much comfort this is, but ALL has a relatively high cure rate in little kids, around 80-90% if I recall correctly. Your niece has a tough time coming, no doubt about it, but odds are she'll come out the other side. Best wishes to all of you.
I read the blog and was so struck by the thought that one minute everything was going well, and the next there is a situation that is so devastating all of life revolves around it. Our prayers are with you all!
