Dawn of a New Adventure (Part 2)

The company I am working for speaking to schools about drugs and prison has finally added me to their website.

Click here to see my web page at The McLellan Practice.

They’ve also sent out some advertising to 250 schools, so I am hoping to get some bookings before the school year ends.

The McLellan Practice deals mostly with private, independent, and public schools, but I would like to tell my story to state schools as well. My coworker, Emma, has advised me to advertise to the state schools on my own. She speaks to a dozen state schools about being HIV positive. So I’m going to have to get a directory of sixth-form college addresses, and do a mass mailing to the ones in my local area. Emma said I also have to set myself up as self-employed, and I need my own website, which the state schools can book me through. I had a website out of America, but the company hosting it went bust, so I’m unsure where to turn for that, and the costs involved. It’s like I’m starting my own business from scratch.

If you are a member of a private, independent or public school and wish to book my speech, please email: enquiries@mclellan.info

If you are a member of a state school and wish to book my speech, please email: writeinside@hotmail.com

Coming next: a letter from Frankie describing how he almost smashed a transsexual.

Excellent bio on the webpage Shaun! However one thing I was not aware of is that you are “banned from the US. Why?

Jose,

I am banned by the Department of Homeland Security because I have aggravated felonies. I was a first time drug offender, so to give me the amount of time the prosecutor and detectives were determined to give me (9 ½ years), the judge had to aggravate my sentence.

I'll post an update on the characters you asked about next week.

Thanks for all of your comments!

Had a look sounds so funny hearing you described like that, some hardened criminal....not the wine loving veg curry loving man we all know now.

Hope this move works well for you hun.

Wow! That is great! 8 or 10 years ago, would you have ever imagined this path for yourself? Congrats!

Hey,

Looked at the website. Looks good. One spelling error you have "offenses" spelled offences. No big deal.

Be well,

Weird Al

Al,

You sent me straight to my dictionary, and I learned that in England we spell offences with a "c"

Thanks!

Hey,

Never thought of that. I too looked it up before I risked saying anything because I am absolutely terrible at spelling, rely on spell-check on the computer.

Have a good one,

Weird Al

Hi Shaun,

I hope that you are remembering to inform people that it was your arrest that propelled you into a differrent way of thinking.

The point being, that it is not what happens to you, but how you respond to it, that defines who you are.

Keep up the good work!

Yes, Zen,

I will make that clear. I've been thinking a lot about the content of my presentation. I must be careful not to glamorize my former lifestyle. I started taking Ecstasy when I was just a few years older than the youths I am speaking to. I'll tell them the roads I went down that put me in pink boxers. I'm sure some of them will be tempted to travel down these same roads, but may think twice after hearing my story.

Shaun,

I own two small computer companies and my business partner is an IT guru. We also have a third web-hosting company and can do just about anything you can imagine with a web page.

If interested, let me know how I can contact you off-line.

It's a shame that you cannot come back to the US and speak in schools here. We need our youth to hear what prison and jail is like, and how simple it is to get caught up in the "scene". You are a very good example not only the youth you will be speaking to, but also current inmates. You have overcome so much, and have had some pretty harsh obsticles to climb...you should be proud of yourself and who you are now. I hope that you don't ever regret all the troubles you've been through, they have made you a better man today. I hope you get your first booking very soon!!

Much Love and Respect,

Misty and Brian

Please email me at writeinside@hotmail.com

I'd love to get a site set up that the state schools can book me through.
