Maricourt Catholic High School
Had one of the best receptions yet yesterday. About one in every five talks, the students go wild, as was the case at Maricourt High in Liverpool. The lunch time came, and the students yelled, "Keep going. Don't stop," so I carried on. The teachers had to chuck them out in the end. The questions were relentless, and it was one of the most enjoyable schools I've ever visited. The applause and whistling and howling made me feel special, and I was able to get an important message across.

Out of the Facebook friend requests from Maricourt students, one called Joe must have taken a photo of T-Bone during my talk from my Powerpoint display, as he made T-Bone his profile pic on Facebook. I laughed when I first saw it - click here to see it.

In Liverpool, I also have a book signing coming up at Waterstone's in L1 on Saturday April 2 from 1pm - 4pm - click here for more info.

Shaun it was the best thing ever in school really intresting! nobody in school has stopped talking about u or ur story i have ordered your book on amazon cannot wait to read it but one question is that when ur out and see gangs or dodgy looking people r u intimidated or not bothered as u have seen much worse?

Good question. Yes, when I am out and about, I don't get scared of stuff very easily after being in Arpaio's jail, and living with some dangerous people in there.

Your talk in Maricourt yesterday was very good, and we often have people come in to talk to us but I dont think anyone has been received as well as you. Your story was interesting and you told it well so nobody got bored.

I have the feeling that I would like to know more information from you and I have so many questions to ask so sorry if I keep sending you messages

Do you still sometimes get the feeling that you want to 'get to the top' again? And did you think that the police would never get you for the crimes you committed?

Thank you and i would just like to add that you are the most influential speaker we have ever had at our school :)

I am Joe's father, you really engaged my son and got over a key message don't break the law -if you do you could end up in jail - and you need to understand what that means - my son does now and i think your message will stay with him so thank you.

Great to see you have turned your life around and are giving something back.

Thanks sorry i missed it actually

Tommy,

Thanks for taking the time to let me know about the impact of the talk on your son. I'm really fortunate to have been given the opportunity to influence him and the rest of the students at Maricourt.

All the best!

How was the drugs? Do they feel good? and do you still get the craving for them every once and a while?
