Making A Murderer Update 30: Suspect George Zipperer #makingamurderer

In recent weeks, a suspect in Making a Murderer has become George Zipperer. A call between detectives Weigart and Remiker indicated that Teresa Halbach may have stopped at the Zipperer property after visiting Stephen Avery’s yard. When questioned by the police, Zipperer lied about his own activities and denied Teresa had ever been there.

A local source close to the events, posted a theory on Reddit under the name Escvelocity:
My theory is that George Zipperer shot Teresa thinking she was trespassing. The Zipperers called chief deputy Eugene Kusche, because they knew him personally. Eugene then contacted deputies Lenk and Colburn, then it was all downhill from there. However, Steven Avery retained excellent attorneys and threw a wrench into things by pushing the framing defense.

According to the Zipperers’ Wiki page:
The Zipperers live at 4433 County Trunk B, near route 310, south of the Avery salvage yard. JoEllen lived at the property with her husband George, daughter, and grandson Jason.
At trial JoEllen testified that she thinks Halbach was there "mid-afternoon," "maybe around 3:00", which was an estimate. She was there for about 15 minutes. She did not say where she was going next. She left a message prior to arriving "that she was having trouble finding our house, but I was outside so I didn't hear it until later, after she was gone. But she found the place." JoEllen did not see Teresa leave.
Teresa could have arrived as early at 2:30pm, could have been 3:00 or a little after. JoEllen was outside raking in the garden and not wearing a watch.
When police called twice on November 3, George Zipperer spoke to them.
Outside the presence of the jury and witness, Dean Strang told the court that Corporal (Leslie) Lemieux of the Calumet County Sherriff's Department made a report that shows she started working on the missing person investigation at about 5:00 on November 3. She reports a call to George Zipperer where he is belligerent on the phone. There is also a report of Investigator John Dedering of Calumet calling at about 9:40pm, says George is extremely belligerent. Strang says he intends to show that George lied about his own activities and Jason's activities, about whether Teresa Halbach was a trespasser, threatened to have a dog eat anyone who came onto the property, wanting Teresa Halbach arrested after being told she was a missing person, and denying that he had contacted Auto Trader or arranged for photographs of the car.

The theory now is that Teresa was at the garage looking to photograph a car and George Zipperer mistook her for a trespasser and shot her.  Another source has told me that the Zipperer grandson in jail knows all the details, and is ready to reveal what his grandfather did to Teresa. Maybe Kathleen Zellner was at the wrong property with her luminol. How can anyone test the Zipperer’s original garage for blood if it has been destroyed?

Amendment: A new garage was being built in 2015 and it is finished now. The garage door is not centered on the new garage and it is on the old one. It is a new garage with a different roof pitch. This has been in progress since 2015. The garage back in 2005 - that could hold answers to Teresa's disappearance - is now gone.

Call between Weigart and Remiker, confirming Zipperer's was the last stop before Teresa disappeared:

I think your theory is very solid. It fits very well in a time mode if she went to the Avery's first. People don't usually lie or get that upset unless they are hiding something. Sounds more plausible then the Steven Avery story.

Can you get an updated photo with address for proof? I think this is who killed Teresa, but would love a current photo to show it is gone. I saw you tweeted Zellner. I hope someone gives us confirmation soon.

Just to add to my last comment, I find it strange someone would text that and not take a photo. I really do think he is a good suspect, but with todays phone's, does this not strike you as odd?

Not really if the person wants to remain anonymous or perhaps that person just reported whats going on and did take a picture only to turn that over to Averys attorney I mean after all we dont need the locals cleaning up evidence there if it may actually exist

Good news is... Gravity is the law. Blood obeys the law (unlike the MCSD). Blood drips downward. As long as the garage "FLOOR" is not torn up... Luminol will still do what it needs to do in this case. Blood should be all over that garage floor. Find a spot that glows and swab the snot out of the surrounding area. Zellner better get WI Attorney General Brad Schimel to post some state level officers at that scene with a warrant to make sure that "the ol' Zipper" doesn't take a jackhammer to the concrete.

The fact is Steven Avery was setup and framed by the Sheriff's Dept & their investigators. He was treated as if he was guilty from day one and was robbed of his constitutional right to a fair trial.

Steven Avery was not the last one to see Teresa, and phone records now s however Yonex involved knew he was not the last to see Teresa.

We now know the charred remains were never identified as Halbachs and we're more likely that of a dead 25 year old who died of a drug overdose and we're cremated by the Sheriff's Dept and carried yo Avery's fire pit

Teresa burned body was also used to frame Avery, was likely placed behind Averys property along with a dog, possibly the dog had bit her, hile on the Zipperers property. I am still not willwing to believe anyone other than colburn put that SUV on Averys salvage, because it took Pam 20 minutes to find it. On a 40 acre lot. The Sheriff's Dept& their investigators and the prosecution lied about the facts of the case and manipulated the evidence and used a 16 years old to destroy Avery's witness, by making him involved in the murder and mutilation of Teresa when they all knew she was a dead corpse to begin wish. Justice must be done to all those involved and that includes Pam who found the vehicle that she was told to go find.

The American public is Outraged that there was nothing that the Sheriffs Dept and their investigators and the prosecution wouldn't do to frame Avery. THEY HAD NO CONSCIENCE in 1985 and they had no conscience in 2003. Peterson
Said he was not sorry Avery spent
18 years in prison for something he didn't do. And he said it would have been easier to kill him.

Thanks for sharing this. I had not heard much about this in a while. I appreciate that some people are really keeping up to date and sharing the information. With how connected the world is now, it is hard to limit the information that we get. Sometimes I just want to know that that directly impact me. A little selfish.

Bit late to the party on this thread and sorry if someone has mentioned this... But, isn't the fact that Avery himself said Theresa came to his property after 2.30, proof that Zipperer can't be the murderer?

Unknown said...

Avery said TH was there between 2 and 2:30. She left from there to Zipperer's and the old man shot her. The Sheriff's Dept & their investigators now had the perfect opportunity to frame Avery and stop the lawsuit that was set to pay Avery 36 million. So infuriating this has been allowed to go on. And, looks like no end in sight for the two sitting wrongfully imprisoned. There is so much reasonable doubt it makes me sick.

I think it's relevant that Jason Z supposedly killed himself last year. The kid knew something.

Thumbs up.
